IRON DISORDERS INSTITUTE
Iron Disorders Institute (IDI) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to inform people about the symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of iron disorders like hemochromatosis and anemia. IDI carries out this goal by distributing information about iron disorders through irondisorders.org, hemochromatosis.org, and getyourironup.org. IDI also emails its monthly IRON NEWS newsletter to the general public and is in the process of releasing an annual idInsight journal to medical professionals. As an editorial assistant, my tasks have included:

-
Writing, designing, and distributing IRON NEWS
-
Updating IDI's websites
-
Renovating idInsight and recruiting articles from the scientific community
-
Connecting with other information vehicles to more widely spread research on iron disorders
